Hello everyone! Today I have a fun project where I use only three 6X6 pattern paper sheets to create 6 cards! This project inspired by Call Me Crafty Al Youtube channel where its all about using up your stash to create multiples of cards. Alicia of Call Me Crafty Al, is absolutely amazing! You can download the guides to creating these cards for free! If you are interested in busting your stash of hoarded pattern paper just like me, you will not regret checking her out here.
I downloaded one of the free printables from February 2022 where the sketch called for 6X6 paper pads. Speaking of paper pads, ScrappyTails has limited edition kits available. Ths kit is so well curated and is loaded with lots of wonderful stuff — a 6X6 Wild Sunflowers stamp set, 6X6 Layering Sunflower Stencil set with coordinating die, a beautiful Harvest Wheat die set, 24 sheet double sided pattern paper pad and a small bag of yellow satin flat back pearls for embellishment.

I will be using a paper pad from the latest release of Scrappy Tails crafts called Harvest Blessings release. I took three different designs from the paper pad and follwing the instructions from the print out, I cut them accordingly. Then I also cut out matts from coordinating cardstock. Then I set them aside.

For the main design of the cards, I used the sunflowers from the Wild Sunflowers stamp set also from Scrappy Tails. I stamped all the sunflowers in the set onto Bristol Smooth cardstock using black pigment ink. Then I colored them with ZIG Clean Color Brush Markers. Scarlet Red & Yellow for the flowers, Mid Green & Olive Green for the leaves and Oatmeal & Dark Oatmeal for the stems and middles of the flowers. I didn’t have the coordinating dies, so I fussy cut them out.

The cards were easy enough to assemble and I love how bright and happy they look! Sabrina of Scrappy Tails Crafts designs all the images in the stamp sets available in her shop. The latest collection is absolutely wonderful!

I still have so much paper left over from the beautiful paper pack. But now that I discovered Call Me Crafty Al on Youtube, I am eager to bust my stash and try out the different sketches every month. The Scrappy Tails Harvest Blessings kit is also a great way to make quick and easy cards!
’til next time!
❤️

Beautiful cards! I love Crafty Al. I haven’t been able to create with her in quite a while, but usually get her sketch. I hope to have time soon to create with this month’s sketch. Love your paper and sunflowers.
