Hello! The Hero Arts Global team is hopping on Instagram and we have lots of wonderful inspirations and a prize to be won! Before I get into the details of the Instgram hop, I have two card inspirations for you today! And I manage to upload a tutorial on my Youtube channel!
Today I am going to show you some tips and tricks on ink blending intricate die-cuts. The dies are from the July 2022 Hero Arts My Monthly add-ons to make this really fun Flamingo card design.
I’ll be using Hero Arts hero hues cardstock. For the leaves, I’ll be using Kiwi, Meadow, Paradise & Bermuda. For the background, Mist and for the flamingo, Peony. I’ll also be using distress oxide inks, Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn.. Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry and Kitsch Flamingo.
The two die sets featured in my cards are the Tropical Florals and Lawn Ornaments. I have the full tutorial on my Youtube channel linked below.
Here is a closer look at the cards I made.
I made a similar card as the one above but this time, I did not do any ink blending. I just added highlights on the leaves and flaming using a white gel pen.
