Hello! It’s been a minute since I last posted. My card inspiration today is a card I have been wanting to create for awhile now. A card with a chocolate theme. So when I saw these chocolate truffle dies from Scrappytails crafts, I had to have it!
I used vellum to die cut the truffle wrappers, then a variety of scrap cardstock in brown and some printed ones for the truffles. To create a more dimensional look, I used a tool with a rounded tip to curve the paper.

For the background, I used a lacy doliy stencil from Brutus Monroe and ink blended it on kraft cardstock using Unicorn white pigment ink from Hero Arts.

I layered the stenciled background onto brown cardstock. I added three layers of foam tape behind each paper truffle before adhering it onto the vellum wrapper then glued onto the middle left hand side of the card.

Then I splattered some white ink all over the panel before I added the “have a sweet birthday” sentiment heat embossed with white embossing powder on brown cardstock.
I enjoyed using these dies — they were so much fun to create these yummy looking chocolate truffles!
‘Til next time!
Anna
