Hi everyone! We are halfway through the A Blog Named Hero challenge and I have another CAS card inspiration for you!
Several months back, someone over at the Hero Arts Kits Fanatic page posted a wonderful inspiration graphic of a typewriter with a cluster of flowers coming out from the top. I could not locate that photo but I did remember it and decided to use that as my inspiration for this card. I purchased the Typewriter die and wanted to use it eventually on a card and here it is!
First I die-cut all the flowers and leaves from the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero January 2020 kit and colored them with copics. This kit was so popular that it is now a regular product on the Hero Arts Website! If you are interested to know what copic colors I used to color them and how I colored them, I have a blog post and a video on that linked here. I also added a tulip which is from the Watering Can Fancy Die set.
I die cut the typewriter twice from Dove cardstock using the Typewriter fancy die. I used the Book Peek-a-Boo cover die and dry embossed it on white cardstock for the background. The “Hello” sentiment was is from the Bookworm Messages stamp set, stamped with Intens-ified Black ink.
