X-Large Word Pop-Up Easel Card: 9th Anniversary Celebration of A Blog Named Hero Challenge!

Hi Everyone! We have a special celebration today! It’s the 9th Anniversary of the A Blog Named Hero blog challenge! We have a fun Instagram hop going on and I hope you will be able to join! Now on to our April challenge and if you haven’t guessed yet, the theme is Anniversary! Here are my card inspirations for this month’s challenge.

For this card, I used the Hero Arts Love You Stamp & Cut. Its an interactive pop-up easel card. This was inspired by the many easel cards tutorials but made my own spin on it using big word dies.

I had so much fun making this that I created another one, this time using the Hero Arts X-Large Happy Thanks Stamp & Cut.

For the background of the cards, I used the Script bold prints cling stamp. In the green card, I used white embossing powder, then swiped different colors of reactive inks and sprayed it with water. It was so quick and easy to make. I did the same process for the blue card but used gold embossing powder for a more elegant look. These cards fit into a regular A2 size envelope.

For the word “pull” and “pull here”, I used the Lawn Fawn Push Here stamp set. And heat embossed it in the middle of both pull tabs

Hope you were inspired to try out this technique of creating this interactive card. You can, of course, use any big word die you may have in your stash. But you can also use images with their coordinating dies! So many fun ways to do this!
