I am currently a Design Team member over at the Papercraft Business blog. It’s my first ever DT position and I am privileged to be chosen and to be working with such a great team led by the wonderful and supportive Lisa Walsh.
I encourage you to join in on the August 2019 challenge over at her blog Papercraft Business Challenge and you just might win!
This month’s Papercraft Business challenge #21 is all about circles! Use a Circle element in your creation, or make a circle card or layout! You are only limited by your imagination. But please make sure you follow the rules of the challenge in order to qualify.
This is the card I made for this month’s challenge. I hope it inspires you!

For the base, I stamped several citrus slices from the Altenew Main Squeeze layering stamp set using the 2nd layer from the set. To create a subtle watercolor look, I sprayed a little water on the stamp after inking it up. I then proceeded to flick the colors I used all over just to give it a more organic watercolor feel. The colors I used are Altenew Chamomile & Fresh Lemon Ink.
Then for the circle element, I die cut 2 pieces, one from a pale yellow cardstock and another from silver mirror cardstock using the Frilly Frames Die from Altenew. I adhered them together by offsetting it a little putting a piece of circular vellum in the middle of the two die cuts.
Then for the flowers, I used my scrap cardstock to die cut all the elements from the Altenew Hibiscus Garden 3D die set. The wonderful thing about 3D sets like this is that you get to use all your scraps! The sentiment “hello” by Recollections is die cut from silver mirror cardstock and adhered on the card using mini foam dots.
Here is a close up photo of my card.

Don’t forget to head over to the Papercraft Business Challenge and join in the fun! You just might win this adorable stamp set by WHIMSY STAMPS.

If you enjoy joining challenges, Papercraft Business has created a special planner to help you keep track of your challenges and to help you not miss out on important dates. You can check out the planner here.
I wish you all the best! See you at the challenge!
‘Til next time!
