Magic is in the Air

I just love the magical qualities of the Hero Arts Dec 2018 kit. It reminds me of when I was 7 years old and I really believed fairies lived in my garden.

I wanted to recreate that feeling so I jumped at the first chance I got to play with the kit!

Here are the two cards:

First I inked up the Hero Arts Starry Night cling stamp with Blueprint Sketch and oxide inks. Used a mist spray bottle and spritz some water before stamping on a white cardstock. I repeated this process about 3 times until I got the coverage I was happy with.

Then I Stamped out several images from the kit unto white cardstock using memento tuxedo blank ink. I used copics to color in the images.

I then die cut each image and started building the scenes. My daughter helped me create the scene with the mouse.

Here is another simpler card I made. This time I used Simon Says Stamp Birch trees window die.

I really find building scenes quite therapeutic and I will be doing more of this!
