It’s Altenew Inspiration challenge time again!
I’m excited to share this technique with you.
For this month’s challenge, I used the beautiful SWEETEST PEAS stamp set by Altenew. I stamped them on watercolor card stock using black memento ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder from Ranger.
Before I started coloring, I swatched out my ZIG Clean Color real brush markers so I can determine best colors to use on this project. Then I experimented with the color combinations using the markers and a paint brush and very little water.

When I was satisfied with the color combinations, I proceeded to color in the flowers and leaves. These ZIG markers are very easy and forgiving, so just experiment!
I then fussy cut the flowers and set them aside. For the background I used the ZIG and brush them onto a plastic surface, sprayed water and proceeded to ‘smoosh’ the paper on top of the paint then left to dry.
I then die cut the lovely MOROCCAN cover die by Altenew on white card stock.
I then layered the cover die cut on top of the smooshed back ground. I splattered some dark gray paint to give it more interest. Then I assembled my flowers on top then finished off with a sentiment and black nuvo drops.
Here is my finished card!

Thank you for dropping by!
❤️ ANNA
List of colors used:
ZIG clean real brush color markers no. 030 (blue), no. 081 (light violet, no. 043 (olive green), no. 061 (light brown) and no. 070 (Orange)
