Hello my friends! We’re back with another fun blog hop with the Squirrel sisters. For those new to our monthly blog hop, my squirrel sisters and I get together monthly to create inspirations using items from our stash that we have squirreled away thus the name “Squirrelz Stash Bash”. This month’s theme/prompt is Travel/Summer with dies.
And if you are familiar with our hop, then you have just come from the lovely Lounon!

By some wonderful coincidence, the latest release from Hero Arts is travel themed! I lucked out with that one as I do not have much travel themed items in my stash.
For this card, I was going for a Murder on the Orient Express vibe with this card. I am a big fan of Agatha Christie novels so I kind of wanted to do this travel theme with a vintage feel.

I broke out some pattern paper, which, you guessed it, had been in my stash for goodness how long. I chose patterns that were small and had a neutral color palette.
I have a video tutorial where I show my process of paper piecing. I show the process and the tools I use to make it easier.
Here are close up looks at the card I made.

Next up on the hop is the wonderfully talented V Fairchild!
‘Til next time

Dang! Great video and your card is amazing! Way too fiddly of a process for me with all those details, but you pulled it all together nicely! I can’t imagine how long this took to do. Especially loving the background stamp!
