Take a bow! Celebrating with Trinity Stamps

Hi everyone! I have another holiday card inspiration as a Trinity Stamps Ambassador. I am sharing a card I created using the Big Bows, Little Bows stamp set. It’s such a versatile all-occasion set.

I have a quick and easy technique to color in these images. First I gold heat embossed all the images in the stamp set on a panel of watercolor paper. Then I took the Ruby Red Waterbrush marker from the Altenew Winter waterbrush marker set and scribbled directly onto the images.  Then I took a spray bottle filled with water and spritz the panel generously. I used a paper towel to pick up some of the water that pooled around the images.

Then I scribbled more of the pigment but this time onto my glass mat.  Then with a paint brush, I added more dimension to each part of the bow by painting each side then diluting it with water.  This is how achieved the highlights on each part of the bow.

While waiting for the bows to dry, I took a panel of blue cardstock and cut it down to 3.5″X 6″.  Then I took the largest of the Trinity Stamps mini slimline stiched dies and cut out a rectangular stitched panel. I took my blending brush and ink blended a little bit of Black Soot distress oxide in random areas of the panel.  Then I took some gold glimmer metallic ink and splattered it all over.

I then matted the splattered panel on a slightly bigger gold mirror cardstock.  I fussy cut the bows and added it to the gold matted card panel.  I arranged them on opposite corners and added foam tape before adhering. I  die-cut the word “CELEBRATE” from the same gold mirror cardstock. I also die-cut the matching shadow and adhered it in the middle of the card panel.

I trimmed all the excess sticking out on the sides then adhered it to a 6.5X 3.5″ top folding card panel.
