Making Waves! Four for One with Trinity Stamps

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to be a guest designer on the Trinity Stamps blog. In that blog post I used the Waving Hello layering stencil to create two backgrounds using one ink blended background. If you are interested to see how I created these backgrounds, I will link it here.

In the Trinity blog post I mentioned that after I created two cards that I still had some left over panels to create two more cards – to make a total of four cards in total! Here are the two cards I made as guest designer.

CARD #1 & #2:

CARD #3 & 4:

Here are the cards I made with the left overs from the stenciled panel I made:

Card #3:

The left over piece of the original ink blended panel reminded me of a sunset sky, so I decided to create a slimline card with a clouds, using it as a background. I die cut two pieces of clouds using the full length of the scenic border die. I then ink blended the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.

Then I adhered both pieces of the clouds with foam tape to the top and the bottom of the slimline card front backing it with a piece of acetate. I stamped and colored this adorable bear being held up with a bunch of balloons with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. The bear and sentiment “Thanks for the lift” is from the You Lift Me Up stamp set.

CARD #4

For my 4th card, I took the other left over panel from the floral card #2 and die cut it using the 4-Bar Card Die set to create a beautiful finished edge.

I colored and fussy cut the three cute little images from the Turtley Awesome stamp set and adhered it to the card. I added Crystal Clear Flat Backed Rhinestones in varying sizes to create bubbles. I white heat embossed the sentiment “Have a Turtley Awesome Day!” also from the same stamp set, onto black cardstock and adhered it on the lower right of the panel with some foam tape. Then I mounted the card to a n aqua blue card base.

Hope you were inspired by my project!

Have a wonderful crafty day!

‘Til next time!

❤️
