November 2025 Hero Studio Release + Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends! The Hero Arts Creative Team is celebrating the release of the November Hero Studio with a blog hop! If you are hopping along with us, you have just come from the Hero Arts blog.

This month’s Hero Studio release is one for the books! (pardon the pun) I created two projects, one is a card using the products from the card kit and the other, a bookmark using the dies from the dies of the month.

First, let’s take a look at the kit. This month’s kit is called “One More Chapter”

Contents of the kit includes:

• To Be Read Pile 4×6 Clear Stamp Set
• To Be Read Pile Coordinating Dies
• Happy Place Die Set
• Professional Bookworm 3×4 Stamp & Cut
• Gold Hero Wax, 1 oz.
• 10 Sheets of Cardstock- 1 of each color, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Bellini, Coral, Carrot, Terra Cotta, Beeswax, Saffron, Tuscan, Peridot, Seaside, Waterfall)

I used the To be Read die as the focal point of my card. First, I used the Die to cut out a base using Alabaster cardstock. The I divided it into two book piles by cutting it down at the center. Next, I die cut the book spines in different colors using the cardstock that came in the kit – Peridot, Seaside, Beeswax and Coral. I inkblended the edges of each piece with Hero Arts Core Ink – Green Apple, Paradise, Butterbar and Soft Blossom in that order. Then I gold heat-embossed the design on the spines using the coordinating stamps. I also die cut the flowers and leaves and ink blended them as well.

To create the cup, I used three different sizes of the Circle infinity die, a bigger circle die to create the cup and then two smaller circle dies to create the handle. I die cut them out using Fawn cardstock and inkblended using Fawn Core Ink.

For the background of my card, I diluted a small amount of Gold Hero Wax with water and with a paintbrush, painted it on a panel of Alabaster cardstock. I cut down the panel and added Hero Wax on the edges and adhered it to a 4.25″x5.5″ panel of Fawn cardstock. I then assembled and adhered all the elements onto the card panel. Then glued onto a side folding card base.

I used the same colors of cardstock for the design of the bookmark – die cutting all the elements from the Hero Studio November Die Set of the Month – – Book Bag. Then, I cut a piece of Alabaster Cardstock to 2.5″x6.5″. To create a perfect arch for the top of the bookmark, I used an arch die from the Arch infinity Nesting die set, the same width as the bookmark. Then I punched a hole on top using a Slot Hole puncher, painted on the surface using Hero Wax then applied the same on the edges.

Next, I adhered all the elements including the word Book Worm. I used gold mirror cardstock to create a shadow under all the die cuts to tie everything together.

At the back of the bookmark, I created a pocket and inserted a strip of cardstock. I printed the word “Books Read” on the pocket and a numbered area on the strip where I can list and track the books I have read.

I finished off the card and bookmark with some gold flat back pearls in the middle of the flowers.

And now for the fun part!

  1. So creative! Way to think outside the box, splitting the stack of books and putting the pot of flowers on top and more books behind it. Neat idea! Other card is different with book worm sticking out from the back too. Very creative cards!
