Hero Arts January 2025 Hero Studio Release + Blog Hop

Hello friends! It’s Hero Studio release day! And I have exciting news! I am continuing on as a member of Hero Arts Creative team for 2025! I was previously on the Global Team but they have since streamlined and now there is only one team and I am beyond thrilled to be part of it!

The January 2025 Hero Studio theme is all about love. This month’s release is loaded with enough stuff to make your heart flutter!

First, let’s take a look at the Hero Studio Card Kit of the Month. The theme is LOVE POEM.

Contents of the kit:

– Color Layering Typewriter Clear Stamp Set, 6” x 8”,
– Typewriter Messages Clear Stamp Set, 4″ x 6″
– 7 Typewriter Frame Cut Dies
– 8 Typewriter Fancy Dies
– Nesting Hearts Cover Plate Die
– Mini Clay Hearts
– 8 Sheets of Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5

What’s not to love about the kit? So many wonderful possibilities to create beautiful cards and projects! Here is a card I created using the Typewriter Fancy Dies and the Flower Dies included in the kit.

I used the Checkered Hearts Cling Stamp for the background of my card. I inked it up with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink, gave the stamp a spritz of water before placing the panel on top to create a subtle watercolor effect.

Then I die-cut and colored in all the die-cut flowers and leaves with Ohuhu markers.

I kept the rest of the card fairly simple just by die-cutting the typewriter out of white cardstock. I used one of the dies in the Cover Plate Infinity Hearts to die cut a heart, then stamped the sentiment “Thinking of You” using Intens-ified Black Ink.

If you would like to know all the colors I used for the flowers and leaves, as well as how I put the card together, I have a video linked below.

My second project is not a card but an origami-inspired love note! Hero Arts has a great die that you can use to make your own.

I used a 8.5″x5.5″ thick vellum and sprayed it with a combination of Fuschia & Gold Shimmer Spray and Red & Gold Shimmer Spray. Then I die cut it using the Love Note fancy die.

Next I stamped most of words from the Love Note Messages Stamp set with embossing ink.

Then I used white detail embossing  on each section of the love note. For the main image, I used the diamond border then added the “This Coupon is good for” and sandwiched it between the little heart messages, “Love You” & “You & Me”.

Then I folded it along the score lines to create an origami-inspired love note.

Next, I cut a 2.75″ wide strip of vellum to wrap around the love note using another infinity heart from the card kit to die cut a little window.

I think this is such a cute alternative to a Valentines card for your significant other. Imagine the fun you’ll have “claiming” the coupons.

If you would like to check out the other wonderful items in this month’s release, I have them all linked in the product list below.

The next stop on the hop is the lovely Channin Pelletier. Her creations are absolutely amazing!

And if you get lost along the way, you can always start back at the Hero Arts blog post.

And don’t forget! Hero Arts will give away a $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Thursday, January 9 at 11:59pm PST, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week. Leave a comment on all stops for more chances to win!

Hope you were inspired and continue to be inspired as you hop along with us!

Have a wonderful crafty day!

Til next time!
