Hero Arts

Japanese-themed Gift Card Holders

Hello crafty friends! I have something just a little different this time. Instead of cards, I made some gift card holders using the beautiful cover die that came in the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero March 2024 kit.

This month’s kit is inspired by Japanese art and design. Let’s take a look at the kit and its contents. Though the premium kit is sold out, the classic kit is still available.

KIT CONTENT INCLUDES: (Premium elements in bold):

• Clear Stamp Set, 6” x 8”
• Clear Stamp Set, 4″ x 6″
• 17 Coordinating Dies
• 10 Coordinating Dies
• Cover Plate Window Die
• 2 Rub-On Transfer Sheets w/ stick
• 3 Ink Cubes (Cherry, Periwinkle & Deep Ocean)
• Translucent Pinks Hero Hues Enamel Dots

I have a video where I show how i made these gift card holders. I also show how I made the cute little gold tassle.

Here are some close-up photos of the gift card holders.

I hope you were inspired to give this a try! Even if you don’t have Japanese themed dies or stamps – you can use origami paper. And since origami paper is quite thin, I would adhere it on a piece of thick cardstock. I suggest using a glue stick as it will take easily on thin origami paper.

Thank you so much for dropping by my blog!

Have a wonderful crafty day!

’til next time!

Anna
