Hello crafty friends! I’m back with another simple and fun background technique which I call Ghost Print technique.
But before I get into that, I wanted to let you know that the squirrel squad is back after a long hiatus! We decided to change it up a bit and this time instead of using a squirreled away item from our stash, we decided to use the latest item we acquired from our stash! Sometimes when we acquire or buy something new, it justs sits there in a bin or on a shelf and never gets used. Does this happen to you? It happens to me all the time! So this time we will use one of our newest acquisitions!
Anyway, the newest item in my stash is the latest Hero Arts My Monthly Hero February 2024 Kit so that is what I will be using for my project today. But first here’s a look at the kit.
Kit Contents: (Premium elements in Bold)
• Clear Stamp Set, 6″ x 8″
• Clear Stamp Set, 3″ x 4″
• 17 Coordinating Dies
• 4 Tag Fancy Dies
• Imagine & Peace Fancy Dies
• Sun Stencil, 6″ x 6″
• 6 Sheets Premium White Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
• Unicorn Pigment Ink Cube
• Rustic Twine, 3 yards
• Ephemera Pack, 48 pieces
• White Embossing Powder, 0.5 oz.
Here is the project I created with the kit. I used White pigment ink over the Sun Stencil then ink blended Crimson Ink on top. Then I gold heat embossed details on the flower & Feathers ephemera and background before adhering it over the ink blended background.

For card #2, I used the Peace Daisy Stencil and for the main element, the Dove with Olive branch Fancy Die.
