Hello crafty friends! I’m sharing cards I made with beautiful Triple Ornament hot foil plates from Scrappytails Crafts. I paired it with the paper pack from the Candlelight Christmas collection.
I hot foiled the three ornaments using silver foil on navy cardstock using my Spellbinders glimmer machine.
I was hesitant at first to buy the machine but then it went on sale and I decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot.
I followed a few tutorials, and it was trial and error at first. But after a few attempts, I was absolutely amazed I was able to get good results! Now I’m obsessed!
After I foiled the first set of ornaments, I used the left over negative foil to create another set of ornaments!
I love the the blue and white motif of the pattern paper, but I decided at the very last minute to add red accents. I thought that it gave an unusual combination for a holiday card.
I love how the foiled ornaments give the cards such an elegant look and feel.
The sentiments I used for my cards came from the English Christmas Village stamp set also from Scrappy Tails Crafts.
