Hi Everyone! I am so excited to be announcing the new challenge for A Blog Named Hero this month! Its all about the GLITZ! Details on how to join our challenge will be at the end of my blog post.

My inspiration for you today is foiling! As the month of November rolls around, rains have stopped and we are in for some sunny AND cooler weather over here in my part of the world! This is our version of fall weather! I was so inspired by the wonderful change in weather that I wanted to try my hand in foiling to add some glitz to my project. I am using the beautiful sunflower stamp in the My Monthly Hero September 2021 kit! This kit has five, yes five, layering stencils that go with the stamp set.

If you would like to see the process of how I colored the image using the stencils and the foiled the outline, I have it all in my video linked below! I also have a few tips & tricks on how to line up your stencils with the stamped image.
Here are some more close up photos of my project!

It’s not a perfect foiled outline as you can see some double lines if you look closely, but I love the effect,it certainly gives it more character!

The kit is still available as of this writing. It comes with 4 ink pads and a blending brush aside from the stamp set and the stencils. If you are interested in this set, I have it linked below.
And now for the details of the challenge. All you need to do is create a project using at least one Hero Arts product following the theme and post it on your Instagram feed and tag us at #cylnovemberchallenge and @ablognamedhero. If you don’t have Instagram, do not worry, you can post your project on the designated folder in the A Blog Named Hero Facebook page.
I am also linking this project over at the Hero Arts Stay Crafty challenge – Fall Colors.

I can hardly wait to see what you create!
‘Til next time!
❤️
Anna
