Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Lush Garden Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

The widely popular Craft Your Life Project Kit this month is so beautiful! These kits have so much value that it was immediately sold out when it was launched last month! I am almost sure that the Lush Garden kit this month will not ne an exception! It features a 6X8 stamp set with coordinating dies, a simple coloring stencil that coordinates with the stamp set, an embossing folder and a simple layering stencil that coordinates with the embossing folder! These items are exclusive to the kit and are not sold separately.

If you are following along on the blog hop, you have just come from the uber talented Tina Smith. If somehow you get lost along the way, you can start over at the Altenew blog. There you will find more information on this fantastic release!

There are $300 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $ 25 gift certificate to 8 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 08/18/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 10 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 08/20/2021.

I have a three cards, one kit inspiration for you this month. I will also be using the Spring Garden Watercolor Brush Markers along with this kit for all the cards. I also made a video tutorial on how I created them.

Card #1: Scribble

I will start with the first technique which is a little more involved which involves scribbling the pigment from the waterbrush markers directly onto a heat embossed image.

Card #2: Smoosh

This technique is the simplest one of the three. Scribble the pigment onto a craft mat, spritz with water and smoosh your card onto the surface. I also added splatters of gold watercolor ink after dry embossing it with the 3D embossing folder from the kit.

Card #3: Stamp

This technique is, in my opinion, the most fun! I scribble the pigment directly onto the stamp and stamp it down on the paper. This creates a loose watercolor effect and is so easy to do!

If you would like to know more on how I made these cards, it’s all on my video tutorial linked here.

I hope you were inspired!

  1. My favorite is the vellum cut flowers. You can still see all the color through them but it lets the eye rest too.
