This little pig from the Brutus Monroe March Stamp of the Month is just so adorable! I had to create another card with him. If you would like to see the other card I created, you can click the link here! I also have a tutorial there on how to create faux woodgrain.

The Brutus Monroe Wood Cuts Stencil (March Stencil of the Month) is a truly unique one – woodblock slices. So I thought it would be great to have him stand on woodblocks eating his watermelon.
I simply placed the stencil on some kraft cardstock and used Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink to ink it up. Then I fussy cut a portion of it out and inked up the edges as well.
I colored him and the watermelons with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. I fussy cut two of the watermelons after adding bite marks with a .05 Micron pen.
I used the Burst stencil for the sun and ink blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink for the sky. The grass is a Grassy border die from Lawn Fawn.

I hope this card cheers you up!
‘Til next time!
