Hello crafty friends! I haven’t posted in awhile as I have been travelling. I am currently in Spain staying for a few weeks. I actually brought craft supplies with me, just the basics so I can craft while I am on vacation.
I created this card using the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero May 2024 kit. Hero Arts is celebrating 50 years in the business and they have included some wonderful extra stuff in the kit! Here is a look at the contents of the kit:

I created this card using elements from the kit as well as one of the cling stamps that came in the May release.
First I took some of the watercolor paper that came in the kit and shimmied the shimmer sprays on! I used the blue shimmer spray that came in the kit as well as red, orange and green shimmer sprays. I also took another panel of watercolor paper and sprayed on mostly the red orange sprays, with a little bit of the blue to create a more red purple effect,
Then I let it dry a little before dabbing it with a paper towel to remove some of the excess.
Then I gold heat embossed the backgorund using the Sunburst Flowers bold prints stamp . For the matting and the background of the sentiment, I used the Bermuda Hero hues cardstock which I also sprayed with just the blue shimmer spray. The Congrats die was die cut out of the other panel that I sprayed with the red orange and blue shimmer spray. I added some dimension as well at the back of the sentiment and its shadow.
To finish off the card, I added some of the champagne sequins that came in the kit.
I really love how this card came out! I am so happy I invested in purchasing the “Get them All” shimmer spray bundle which contains red, orange, green, blue and black shimmer sprays! It such a quick way to add shine to your projects!
