Yuel Fuel: Hero Arts September 2025 Release

Hello crafty friends! I am so excited to dive head on into creating Christmas Cards and projects. Hero Arts has a fun-filled release this month called “Yuel Fuel”. The Hero Arts creative team is hopping over on Instagram to celebrate the new release. Details of the hop at the end of my post.

For my first card, I used the Santa Fuel stamp set. I did some masking to create the cookies, Carrot and glass of  milk on a plate, then colored them with Ohuhu Markers. I will have the marker colors listed below in case you are interested in recreating this card.

Next, for the background I used the Celebration Letterpress + Foil plate and white glimmer foil on Poppy cardstock. I added dimensional tape behind the arms & plate of cookies and the sentiment “Santa Fuel” on top of the background. Then added a Fern green 1″ border and on top of that another 1/8″ white border.

For my second project, I decided to create a tag using the Sassy Elf Costume Die Set. I die-cut the giant elf hat out of _____ cardstock and another piece out of white cardstock. Next, I scored the white elf hat die cut across about an inch  from the tip of the hat, then glued that top portion to the the top of the green die cut elf hat.

For the red band around the hat, I die cut that out of Cranberry cardstock and used ______ stencil and Hero glitter paste to create a design. I also die cut out the feather using Saffron cardstock. Then before assembling, I ink blended the sides of the green elf hat with Green Apple reactive Ink, the glittery band with Cherry Core Ink and the feather with Creamsicle Reactive  ink. Then I glued them all in place.

Next, I stamped the sentiment “It’s just nice knowing we share an affinity for elf culture” on the inside with Intens-ified Black Ink. The sentiment is from the Elf Culture stamp set as part of the release. Then I punched a hole at the top and added a red gross grain ribbon from my stash.
