Hello friends! I love a good mystery and I’m absolutely obsessed with watching True Crime, so this month’s collection from Hero Arts is certainly up my alley!
The creative team and I are hosting a hop over on Instagram – more details at the end of my blog post.

First, I stamped mostly all the images from the Miss Detective stamp onto Alabaster cardstock from Spellbinders using a combination of Pitch Black and Cherry Core Inks.. Then die cut them out using the coordinating dies.
Then on a separate panel of the same cardstock, I ink blended the pattern for her hat, sleeves and coat using the Houndstooth Color Layering Stencil with Pitch Black and Cherry Core Inks.

Next, I stamped the images of the coat, hat and sleeve with Intens-ified Black Ink onto the Houndstooth stenciled panel and paper pieced each item by fussy cutting it and adhering it on top of the image.
For the back ground, I used one of the transfer sheets from the Collage Hero Transfers set and transfered it onto a panel of Alabaster cardstock. The I tore off all the edges to create a old document look.
I adhered the background onto a Pitch Black 4.25″x5.5″ cardstock panel at an angle. Then adhered all the elements on top.
Then I added the sentiment “The evidence is clear” white heat-embossed on Pitch black cardstock and die cut using the coordinating die. The sentiment is from the It’s No Mystery Stamp & Cut set. Then I added “You are Awesome” sentiment below stamped on Alabaster cardstock with Cherry Core Ink.

Do you enjoy watching True Crime shows like I do? Let me know in the comments below!
