Hello! The Hero Arts Creative Team is hopping over on Instagram! I have all the details linked below. I created this spring card using two of the new products from the catalogue, the Morning Glory and Trellis Fancy Dies.
First, I die cut the Morning Glory out of white cardstock, but kept the die cut still connected to the paper by adding washi tape at the back.
Next I ink blended the morning glory flowers using small detailed blending brushes. I used Butter Bar from the Oranges Core Ink Cubes set, and Indigo from the Blues Core Ink cube set. For the leaves I used Green Apple and Moss Core inks.
For the background of my card, I used the inks from the Oranges ink cube set, Dandelion, Butter Bar, Papaya and Pumpkin. I swiped each ink cube across the paper to create an ombre effect.
To assemble the card, I first used the Trellis die and used it to die cut a Trellis window on a 4.25″x5.5″ pice of white card stock. Then I added a sheet of vellum at the back of the window and then I added dimensional tape at the back.
I glued the ink swiped back ground on a side folding note card, then added the Trellis window on top.
Next I added the ink blended Morning Glory die cut at a slight angle. Then I added the sentiment “Thank you” white heat embossed on black cardstock, on the left side.
