Hello crafty friends! I can’t believe that Christmas day is only 10 days away. Every year I tell myself I will start my Christmas shopping earlier and every year I find myself scrambling at the very last minute.. Well, it didn’t happen this year! I actually got all my Christmas shopping done and not only did I get it done, but it’s all wrapped up and ready!
This is what inspired me to create this card.
I used the Presents Tower Fancy die from Hero Arts as the main focal point of my card. I die cut it out of cherry red cardstock and paper pieced the ribbons and some box tops out of kraft cardstock.
For the background, I used the Snowflake & Holly Color Layering stencil set from the November 2024 Stencil of the Month. But I didn’t use all four stencils in the set, I just used stencil #4 to create the background pattern. I ink blended on kraft cardstock using Unicorn White Pigment ink.
Then I added a white heat embossed on black cardstock sentiment “Happy Christmas”. The sentiment is from the Folk Animals stamp set.
As a finishing touch, I added red iridescent baubles for a little bit of bling!
I’m hoping to be able to do the same for next Christmas! It was such a relief to get everything ready ahead of time so I can enjoy and relax for the rest of the holidays!
